Neutering

Cats Protection champions neutering as the only effective way to reduce the number of unwanted cats in the UK.

We seek to dispel myths, spread the neutering message and make it easier for owners on low incomes to get their cats neutered.

In 2011 Dereham Cats Protection helped neuter 1,076 cats for the general public, this year we are hoping to achieve an even higher result. We also neutered 313 cats in our care and again would like to achieve a higher result for 2012.
It is so important for everyone to spread the word that there is help towards the cost of neutering for anyone who is on a low income and finding it hard to afford it.
.
Assisted neutering scheme, we maybe able to help towards the cost of having your cat neutered if you are on a low income or find yourselves financially unable to afford it.
